ANTIGUA AND BARBUDA WELCOME NEW YORK JETS IN PARADISE

A special JetBlue flight of New York Jets players, executives, corporate sponsors and fans arrived at V.C. Bird International Airport to take part in a fun-filled Antigua holiday. As part of the island’s first professional sports organization partnership, the Jets in Paradise trip is one of many activities and events part of a multi-year initiative with the Antigua and Barbuda Tourism Authority.

“The New York Jets are an important partner for Antigua raising awareness of all our destination has to offer visitors reaching fans in the important northeast corridor and in fact across the United States,” shared Colin C. James, CEO of the Antigua and Barbuda Tourism Authority. “It is a highlight of this multi-year partnership having the group visit and see our many attractions including the beautiful beaches for themselves in sunny Antigua.”

Joining the Antigua and Barbuda Tourism Authority’s CEO to welcome the group of 45 passengers was, US Director of Tourism Kim Jack Riley, Operations Manager (ag) at the Authority Donyelle Bird-Browne, Chief Operations Officer at the Antigua and Barbuda Airport Authority Edward Gilkes, and other tourism and airport representatives.

As part of the ongoing partnership, Antigua and Barbuda Tourism Authority is a supporting partner of the Jets Cooking School at The Institute of Culinary Education and the New York Jets annual Taste of the Jets event held in the spring each year. Additionally, the partnership includes stadium signage at MetLife Stadium during all Jets home games, radio spots and features during Jets broadcasts on 98.7 ESPN, and a digital media presence through web banner advertisements
